Scholastic Advert |
CBBC reports that Scholastic, the American publisher of the Harry Potter series, have created an advertising campaign to encourage adults to buy Harry Potter books for themselves. A spokeswomen stated the campaign is designed to "reach out to readers who would not normally pick up a copy of Harry Potter." The adverts will appear in magazines and contain words from the books. One advert features a tattooed biker with the words "Flying cars. Fire Whiskey. Death Eaters" with "We all have our reasons. What's yours?"

Various newspapers and websites are reporting that the names of Harry Potter books six and seven may have been revealed. CBBC reports that Seabottom Productions has legally protected the names "Harry Potter And The Mudblood Revolt" and "Harry Potter And The Quest of the Centaur." Seabottom Productions uses the same address as lawyers acting for Warner Bros, the company that is making the Harry Potter movies, and registered the names just days after the company was formed
At this time there is no official proof that these two names will be used. More details will be posted as they arise |

Rumours that Michelle Ang will play Cho Chang in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire are false. Michelle plays Lori Lee in Neighbours. CBBC reports that the casting office quashed the rumour, stating "That's rubbish! Every week there's a different rumour - I don't know where they get them from!" |

CBBC reports that Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is being sold in 15 parts in Vietnam. J. K. Rowling's fifth book has been split so that even the poorest fans should be able to read it. Parts of the book are published every week, each costing about 30 cents

Warner Bros have created a casting office for people who want to be extras in the fourth Harry Potter movie: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Applications can be made by sending a recent photograph and a short letter to Casting Office, Leavesden Studios, PO Box 322, Watford, Hertfordshire, WD25 7XJ from January 2004
