CBBC and IMDb have announced that Mike Newell may direct the fourth Harry Potter movie: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Newell is most famous for directing "Four Weddings and a Funeral," one of the most successful British movies ever. Born in St. Albans, Hertfordshire, Newell would be the first English Director of the Harry Potter movie series
The director that is eventually chosen for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire will need to decide whether to make the film in one part or two, due to the length of J. K. Rowling's fourth book
