Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (adult) |
The Scotsman has reported that the Co-op will not receive any copies of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in advance. The ban has been set in place as the supermarket chain broke the rules of the contract for the sale of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by selling the book before the official release
J. K. Rowling's long-awaited fifth book will be delivered to the Co-op on the 21 June 2003, the official release date of the book. A Co-op spokeswoman claims the chain aims to have the book on sale within its stores about three days after the official release |
