CBBC reports that 44-year-old Donald Parfitt has been ordered to do 180 hours of community service and pay £55. Parfitt pleaded guilty to the theft of pages from J. K. Rowling's long-awaited fifth book from Clays Ltd, the UK printer of the Harry Potter books. The Judge said a jail sentence had been considered, but was decided against after Parfitt's admission of guilt

Parfitt worked for the Suffolk based printing company. He claims to have found the pages from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in the company car park. After storing the pages in his lunch box, Parfitt attempted to sell them to UK newspapers for £25,000
